Blenheim Orange

Sweetly nutty with a good flavour when cooked early in season. By mid-October develops an excellent flavour for fresh eating too. Enjoy with cheese, with the knowledge that its high vitamin C content is doing you good. A low dry weight means this apple works well in Apple Charlotte, Tarte Tatin and Apple tarts.

Growing: very vigorous tree (like Bramley), hardy and strong limbed, resistant to mildew, slightly susceptible to scab in wetter areas.
