Apple 'Arbroath Oslin'

An ancient Scottish variety with an intense, aromatic flavor displaying notes of aniseed. Reputedly brought by the Tironensian monks at the founding of Arbroath Abbey in 1178. It produces small, yellow fruits that ripen in late August. Best eaten fresh straight from the tree as it does not store well
