Apple 'Lass O' Gowrie' – Apple - Culinary - bareroot tree

An old Scottish apple that thrives in cooler northern districts, producing reliable crops of sharp, early-season yellow fruit with red streaks. It is ready for harvest in August. It's often described as a cooker, but I find their sweet-sharp flavour very refreshing in late August.

Please note: A stake and tie are required for all bare-root trees. We recommend a 50mm x 1500mm machine rounded wooden stake with a rubber tree tie for best results. These are available in the online shop under sundries
