Apple 'Hawthornden' – Apple - Culinary - bareroot tree

A historic mid-season cooking apple originating from Midlothian. It produces abundant crops of pale, greasy-skinned fruit that bakes down beautifully. Harvested in September, it stores well until December.

Please note: A stake and tie are required for all bare-root trees. We recommend a 50mm x 1500mm machine rounded wooden stake with a rubber tree tie for best results. These are available in the online shop under sundries
