Perry Pear 'Butt' – Pear - Perry Pear - bareroot tree

A highly celebrated, old perry variety known for its distinctively high level of tannins and acidity, providing great structure and shelf-life to a perry. Collected in late October or November, it stores remarkably well and must be left to mature before milling.

Please note: A stake and tie are required for all bare-root trees. We recommend a 50mm x 1500mm machine rounded wooden stake with a rubber tree tie for best results. These are available in the online shop under sundries
