Quince 'Champion' – Quince - Culinary - bareroot tree

A historic and highly prolific variety of Quince originating from America. It produces large, distinctively pear-shaped fruits with a smooth, golden-yellow skin. When cooked, the flesh releases a powerful, exotic tropical aroma and softens beautifully into a delicate pink hue. Harvested in October, it boasts excellent storability, keeping for 2–3 months in cold storage.

Please note: A stake and tie are required for all bare-root trees. We recommend a 50mm x 1500mm machine rounded wooden stake with a rubber tree tie for best results. These are available in the online shop under sundries
