Apple 'Forty Shilling' – Apple - Dessert - bareroot tree

An old Cumbrian variety prized for its consistent cropping nature in cooler northern orchards. It delivers a pleasant, mild flavour. Harvested in September, it stores for a few weeks.

Please note: A stake and tie are required for all bare-root trees. We recommend a 50mm x 1500mm machine rounded wooden stake with a rubber tree tie for best results. These are available in the online shop under sundries
