Damson 'Farleigh' – Damson - Culinary - bareroot tree

A classic, highly prolific Kentish damson variety that produces heavy clusters of small, blue-black, oval fruits. The intensely sharp, astringent flesh delivers an unbeatable depth of flavour when cooked down into traditional damson cheeses, jellies, and winter crumbles. Harvested in September, it freezes perfectly or stores for 1–2 weeks.

Please note: A stake and tie are required for all bare-root trees. We recommend a 50mm x 1500mm machine rounded wooden stake with a rubber tree tie for best results. These are available in the online shop under sundries
