Pear 'Shipova' – Pear - Dessert - bareroot tree

A unique, rare intergeneric hybrid crossing a mountain ash (Sorbus) with a European pear (Pyrus). It yields small, round, yellowish-green fruits with an exceptionally sweet, melting, and fragrant dessert flavour. Picked in September, it is eaten fresh.

Please note: A stake and tie are required for all bare-root trees. We recommend a 50mm x 1500mm machine rounded wooden stake with a rubber tree tie for best results. These are available in the online shop under sundries
